At Coriotech, one of our core values is to keep learning constantly. As a company in the IT market, we know how fast change can come and so we remain committed to continuing to grow in this regard. This month at Coriotech we welcome our 10th intern in the last 3 years, an ideal time to reflect on our collaborations with the University of Antwerp, Karel De Grote Hogeschool and Artesis Plantijn.

Collaborating with driven students allows us to learn about new trends but also from different perspectives. Trainees at Coriotech come from very different specialisations such as marketing, event management, hotel management and SME management. This allows us to bring in creativity shaped by different backgrounds for periods of several weeks or months.

In addition to our commercial internships, we also collaborate with schools on academic research. Last year, for instance, we collaborated for the first time on a Master’s thesis research at Uantwerp. This is a great opportunity for us to analyse trends from an academic angle which enables us to make better considered choices. In 2024, we also completed a collaboration with the Karel De Grote Hogeschool where students put the theme “as-a-service” under their magnifying glass, a great success!

In any good cooperation, we naturally have to work towards a win-win, and this is another area where Coriotech gets a lot of energy. Within these internships or projects, we commit ourselves to challenging and growing the students as much as possible, we are therefore very proud of our 100% student satisfaction. We have managed to build good relationships over the past few years, allowing us to continue looking to the future with great enthusiasm.
